How to Make Easy Tomato Breadstick Recipe

It is an easy-to-put-together recipe. These tomato & herb breadsticks are delicious and fantastic for a charcuterie board. To make this breadstick: I added tomato sauce and tomato paste. This dough was mixed in a stand mixer. At the same time, you can make the dough by hand.
These breadsticks are topped with sesame seeds and grated parmesan cheese. However, you can top it with your favorite topping.
You can also bake ahead and freeze these tomato breadsticks for later.

Ingredients for the tomato breadsticks

Flour – I used All- purpose flour. But you can use bread flour.

Yeast – I used 2 1/4 teaspoons of instant yeast.

Salt – 1 teaspoon table salt

Sugar – 1 teaspoon of white granulated sugar. You can leave the sugar out if you don’t like adding sugar.

Olive oil – Use extra virgin olive oil

Water – I needed 1 cup + 2 Tablespoons( 1/8 cup) of water. You might need less or more depending on the weather and flour.

Tomato Sauce & Paste – I added 1/3 cup of tomato sauce( not ketchup) and 2 Tablespoons of Tomato paste.

Garlic Powder – 1/2 Tablespoon of garlic powder

Thyme – I put in 2 teaspoons of dried thyme. However, you can add basil or Italian seasoning to your preference.

Toppings – 1/4 cup parmesan and 1 Tablespoon sesame seeds
